Join us for Tsukimi, the Traditional Japanese Holiday celebrating the Harvest Moon!

Professor Emeritus Kimiko Gunji will perform a Moon Viewing Tea Ceremony in the Pavilion in honor of the Harvest Moon.

The evening will begin with a special music program by Cellist, Satoshi Kamei, and Vocalist, Emily Lee, both University of Illinois music students, while waiting for the moon to rise.

After the moon rises, you will be served a bowl of tea and a tsukumi manji (special sweet for the moon viewing.)

Let's celebrate the Harvest Moon together.
