Rikyuki-A Memorial Tea Gathering to honor the life of Sen Rikyu.

Anderson Japanese Gardens Tea Study Group will host a special tea gathering to honor the life of Sen Rikyu(1522-1591), the founder of the Sen family and one of the most influential and innovative Tea Masters in the history of Chado, the Japanese Way of Tea. The present Grand Master of the Urasenke Tradition of Tea is Sen Soshitsu, 16th generation descendant of Sen Rikyu.

This event is held in the Anderson Gardens Guest House. Please bring a pair of clean white socks to wear indoors. Shoes are not permitted inside the Guest House.
